Ciao and welcome to my Substack, Postcards from Puglia. I’m Lauren, a writer and translator from Italian to English. This is my creative space to share everything I love about this special region of Italy’s south.
Having spent the past 20 years visiting Puglia, I’ve completely fallen for its unique culture, traditions, landscapes, people and food. Puglia feels like home to me and I can’t wait to write about my experiences of it here for others to enjoy too.
You can expect a mix of stories about places which are perhaps a bit more off the beaten track, and topics with an alternative take. I’ll be posting as and when I’m inspired and when I have the time to write purely for the pleasure of it.
